How to Fill Out a Keno Ticket

Keno is one of the most straightforward casino games out there. Similar to both a state lottery and to bingo, Keno is entirely based on luck, and simply requires that you select a series of random numbers to play each round. If you have never been to a Keno lounge in a casino before, however, the process of filling out a Keno ticket may be slightly confusing.

Information to Include

The first thing you'll need to do, obviously, is locate the Keno lounge in the casino. Proceed to the Keno desk and ask for a certain number of tickets. Sometimes, there is a limit on how many you can purchase at once, so be sure to inquire about this. Use the Keno crayon provided to place X's over 20 of the 80 numbers on the ticket, and also indicate how many rounds you'd like to keep your tickets in play.

Purchasing Your Ticket

You'll also need to include the amount of your bet on the Keno ticket, which is also the price of the ticket itself. Typically, the amounts are anywhere from $1 to $5. After you've filled out the required fields, hand your ticket and payment to the desk clerk. He or she will then hand you a receipt that you'll need to turn in to collect any winnings (so don't lose it).

You can also play Keno online. The rules of the game are the same, though you'll be filling out your Keno ticket information electronically.
